New music - Meridian (ft. 邹沛沛Peipei), Right Meow, Coffee's Ready

Hello, esteemed virtual guests.

The last few months have been quite freeing for me, as I've started releasing music anew.
It had been sometime, so I genuinely appreciate you being here and reading this.

The first single I recently released was a collaboration with Chinese Indie artist 邹沛沛Peipei. We met through a partner and the second I heard her music I was taken a back. I just knew our sounds would blend super well together. We had virtually the same reflexes - crunchy voicings on polyphonic synths from the 80s blended with nasty basslines and smooth vocals. Like, yes please.

A few back and fourths later Meridian was brought to life. A rolling track that depicts a strong curiosity about the outside world, which is best illustrated by PeiPei harmonizing my French, me her Chinese and us singing the same note in English.

Hope you like the music video that we filmed at a theme park in Shanghai this past November.

In early May, I released Right Meow. A purring track about time standing still with a partner. You know, when their aura is just therapeutic? Yeah. That. I wanted to mimic that energy with synth envelopes that resembles meowing, and wah-wah guitars too. Another element I quite enjoy is the meowing in the bridge. Can you tell if it's a cat sample or a synth? Let me know your guess in the YouTube comments c:

Thanks to visual artist Natalia Solis for this adorable lyric video, in which you can see a few important cats in my life.

Last but not least, Coffee's Ready. I'm just gonna start with the fact that I absolutely fucking love this track. You know the feeling when you're to have a serious chat with your significant other and you're unsure how it's going to play out? If you're going to reach a understanding ground or if it all stops there?

Well, it all boils down to coffee in the morning, doesn't it? That's what this track is about. Making it work... (while being an ode to my favorite drink).

If you're looking for that one track to vibe to on Sunday mornings with a hot beverage in hand (none in particular...), then maybe pop this link.

Oh, also! If you're curious about how I produced it, I did a little stem breakdown on YouTube shorts. Watch: How I made Coffee's Ready
